Move anywhere in England and Wales from £299 with Aussie Man & Van Posted by:

  • Move your belongings anywhere in England and Wales for a fixed rock-bottom price.
  • Choice of next day, three, seven and 14-day services.
  • Prices start from just £299 plus VAT, including loading and unloading.

Moving can be expensive and confusing with costs varying depending on the distance the removals van has to travel and how long it takes. But Bien Media client, Aussie Man & Van, is taking the expense and complication out of it, launching a fixed price national removals service from £299 plus VAT.

Unlike other removals firms, which pack up a van or lorry outside the property, Aussie Man & Van use a container. This is delivered to the customer’s home, packed and sealed, then transported to its destination where it is unsealed in the presence of the customer. The customer is assured that the contents are secure, while the container can be transported on one of a fleet of 120 vehicles that Aussie Man & Van can call upon, dramatically reducing the cost of the average home move.

Mark Prout, managing director of Aussie Man & Van, says: ‘As with air travel, the more flexibility you have and the more notice you give, the better the price you pay. Giving us notice enables us to use our men and vehicles more effectively – a cost benefit which we pass onto customers.’

For £299 plus VAT you could transport the contents of a small one-bedroom flat in a 210 cubic feet (7 x 5 x 6ft) container from London to any destination in England or Wales, with BAR-approved removals men loading and unloading at the other end. So, for example, to move from London to Manchester giving 14 days’ notice would cost £299 plus VAT with Aussie Man & Van – far less than the £1,065 plus VAT quoted by another removals firm*.

Prout continues: ‘Our competitors charge not only for the volume of goods being transported but also the distance travelled and time taken. We cut costs without skimping on service. Large trunk trailers go up and down the UK’s motorways every night of the week, safely transporting the containers. This makes us more cost-effective than our competitors.’

Aussie Man & Van does not send loading crews to the destination but supplies its experienced removals men on a local basis. Not only do they have local knowledge, it saves labour costs in transit and overnight accommodation.
